We are now calling for new projects! If you are part of an organized community group currently working on a project (or about to begin one), this could be the chance to receive financing of up to $4,500. Read about our categories available by scrolling further down on this same page.

ENVIRONMENT
For local projects that address local environmental challenges such as forest connectivity, protection of water resources and urban sanitation, among others.
SOCIAL AND CULTURE
For projects in the areas of public recreation, participation in the arts, public health and civic participation, among others.
CLIMATE CHANGE
For local projects that address local challenges brought about by global climate change or by actions within our region which emit greenhouse gases.
ECONOMY
For projects that address local challenges such as clean production, economic inclusion and integration, and the sustainability of local trades, among others.
YOUTH
To support initiatives that benefit residents of the Monteverde area between the ages of 12 and 30, so that they can discover their individual potentials and be active participants in their community.
