MONTEVERDE COMMUNITY FUND

Strengthening the Monteverde community

today and for future generations.

Monteverde Emergency Fund 2020

Working together in the face of global adversity.

Monteverde has felt a deep economic impact by the recent events in the world: with the arrival of COVID-19 to Costa Rica and the complete lockdown on our borders preventing tourists from traveling into the country, a large percentage of our community has had little to no income for the past months.

This is why we've partnered with the Local Emergency Commission and the Liaison Commission, and using our platforms to help raise funds. To learn more, visit our Emergency Fund section here.

WHO ARE WE?

A non profit catalyst for sustainability

in the Monteverde region.

Micro Grants 2020

We are receiving applications for projects all throughout August, looking for proposals that address the challenges in the community that have resulted from the COVID crisis.

We are looking for projects that have the potential to grow and generate employment, that produce short-term results, and benefit more than one family. We are interested in promoting the diversification of the economy and supporting initiatives that come from organized and multi-family groups.

Grant size: $100-$500
